Updates from the Club Executive

Update on the 2021-2022 season

Online Registration is now up and running for the 2021-2022 season.

The club Executive is in the process of finalizing its policies and procedures for the upcoming season. As always, we will follow the requirements and recommendations of health authorities and curling's governing bodies. The safety of our patrons and staff is our top priority.

Ontario is currently in Step3 of the Roadmap to Reopen. For sports and recreational facilities, this means the following:

  • Masks are required except when eating or drinking, or engaging in physical activity;
  • Physical distancing required (minimum of 2 meters of separation must be maintained);
  • Indoor capacity for the entire facility limited to 50%;
  • Contact tracing for everyone who enters the facility.
  • In accordance with the Government of Ontario's proof of vaccination regulations, as of September 22, CHCC will be requiring all people entering the facility to show proof of full vaccination. See the Return to Play Guidelines above for full details

    CurlON is currently recommending the following game procedures in order to ensure compliance with Step 3 health regulations:
  • One sweeper only on all delivered stones;
  • No sweeping by either team in the houses;
  • Markings inserted in ice to designate standing areas between shots.

    If and when Ontario exits Step 3, some of these restrictions and game procedures may be modified.

    Should you have any questions regarding this information, please contact the club by email at CarletonHeightsCC@gmail.com.

    We hope to see you on the ice soon!

  • CHCC COVID-19 FUNDRAISING PROJECT

    Closure of CHCC because of COVID-19 has placed significant financial pressures on the club. Without support the club will be forced to use its reserves and Capital Fund to support ongoing operational costs. This project will allow club members and users to help mitigate these pressures until the club can re-open.

    Current Donations total: $27,099

    Thank-you for your support !!!
