New Horizons Program

About The Program

CARLETON HEIGHTS CURLING CLUB is pleased to announce that we have received funding under the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program for our project Spring Activities 2022 to take place during May and June. This federal grants and contributions program supports projects that are led or inspired by seniors who are making a difference in the lives of others in their communities.

The funds received for the Spring Activities project at CHCC will be used to open the Club lounge to offer daytime activities during May and June 2022. Activities will be offered on weekdays, providing new alternatives for Seniors 55+ to continue to be active physically, mentally, and socially in a safe and familiar meeting place.

Funding for this project will also be used to fund the startup of the Learn to Curl Program.
