Club Championship

This season’s championship will start on Tuesday, April 9 and run to Saturday, April 20.  Registration fees are $220 per team ($55 per player).

Up to 24 teams of CHCC member and rental league players will be eligible, and cash prizes will be awarded to Championship Event winners.  Each team will be guaranteed three games.  Register now and take part in this season-ending event (refer to registration and payment instructions below)!

Format:
Championship format and timing:

  • Pool tournament               
    April 9-11, 15-16 @ 7 & 9 pm; 
    April 13 @ 9 am, 12 pm, 3 pm (if required)
     
  • A, B, C, D Event playoffs 
    April 17-18 @ 7 & 9 pm
     
  • A, B, C, D Event finals      
    April 20 @ 1 pm

Teams will be randomly assigned to pools.  Overall pool standings will be based in priority order on (1) pool win-loss record, (2) head-to-head win-loss record and (3) draw-to-the-button results.

The overall top 16 pool teams (four per Event) will advance to the A, B, C and D Event playoffs.  Each advancing team will play a sudden-death semi-final game.  Semi-final winners will advance to the Event’s final game.  Top A-Event men’s and/or women’s CHCC club teams will be eligible to register for the Canadian Club Championships.

Weekday draws will be scheduled for 7:05 pm and 9:15 pm starts.  Finger food will be served to participants after their first 7:05 pm draw.  Event finals will be scheduled for 1:00 pm on April 20.  All are invited to watch the event finals.  Finger food will be served during and after the final games.

Teams are responsible for their own spares.  Game schedule conflicts will be accommodated on a best-effort basis.

Only one team member should complete registration and payment for the entire team.

3.   Select the “Login required >>” or “Information required >>” under Details
4.   Select your user profile
5.   Enter your team member names
6.   Enter a team name (e.g. Skip’s last name)
7.   Select <Save and Continue>
8.   Review order
9.   Select <Cash/Cheque> and follow instructions for payment (eTransfer to payments@carletonheightscc.ca or pay at the bar)
