Started curling at 16 in New Liskeard, ON. Curled competitively in Northern Ontario from 1995 and worked as a volunteer ice maker during those years. Took Level 1 and 2 Ice technician to be certified and continued working at the Englehart CC a small 4 sheet club. Helped implement various new techniques and upgrade equipment (ice plant, scraper, nipper and eventually the purchase by the club of new rocks). Also coached a youth women’s team to the U21 National Championships in 2012 and an Ontario Women’s Provincial Championship in 2013 and 2014.

Moved to Ajax in 2014 to become the Executive Director for Curling Ontario working with clubs in development programs to attract curlers and keep their clubs open and vibrant. Also supported clubs in their capital asset programs with government grants and charitable donation opportunities.

Moved to Ottawa to become the Chief Executive Officer for Water Polo in 2024. Continued curling at the Rideau Curling Club and stayed involved with clubs development programs supporting clubs and programs as a volunteer organizer.

I look forward to the opportunity to work with the renewed Carleton Heights Curling Club and return to the sport I eat, sleep and breath each and every day.
