About Little Rocks
Ages

The Little Rock Program (U-12) is for youth 6 to 12 years old as of December 31.  No previous experience with the sport is required.

What is the cost?

The Little Rock program is $100 per curler to a maximum of $200 per family.

How can I learn to curl?

Instruction will be provided during the regular session time.

Equipment

One of the great things about curling is the fact that you can get started without having to purchase expensive equipment. The curling club supplies brooms and slip-on sliders.

We ask that you provide:

Clean running shoes: Any dirt or stones on the bottoms of shoes can damage the ice. Please do not curl in the same shoes you wear to the club.

Warm clothing: We spend at least an hour on the ice, so it is important to dress warmly. At the same time, it is important to wear clothing that allows movement and stretching, especially in the legs. A hat is a good idea if you get cold easily & gloves are essential, both for warmth and to protect hands when sweeping.

Please do not wear winter jackets as they restrict your movement.

Helmets

The use of a helmets is required for all kids in the Little Rock program.

How do I register?

There are three steps required for registration:

    • Register your child online through the Curling I/O website.
    • Read and follow the payment details on the final registration page.
    • Download, fill-in, and send the registration forms to the CHCC Youth Coordinator.

For further details please contact the CHCC Youth Coordinator via email.
